Lambs and Llamas

A few weeks ago I received this email:  "Hi Lynda.  We just bought a llama.  Any tips?"  It was from Kim and Bill English (Bill is Greg's cousin).  They live on a beautiful country property near Milton and are amazing people - you never know what they will be up to, but it is always something interesting.

Well, that's all I needed to hear.  We drove up one evening to meet the new arrival.  Here's Fred the llama, with his buddy, Lambchop:

Fred is a very handsome six month old llama, and Lambchop is the world's cutest three week old lamb.  Apparently, Lambchop sleeps curled up to Fred at night and they've become best friends.

Fred let us hold him and stood calmly while we checked him out.  His fleece feels like silk and he has great conformation.  Kim is going to have a lot of fun with him and I can't wait to see how big he gets.
