This photo was taken at a little park down the road from Serena's farm. It was the first time I took her out to a public place and she did very well and, as you can see, she made some new friends.
Greg and I were more nervous than Serena, as it was our first time travelling with an alpaca but she was calm and took everything in stride. I was so proud of her!! This is great practice for when she starts her real job as a visiting animal to nursing homes and any other place that will have her.
On Saturday I paid a visit to Nancy's farm and found a newcomer to their herd. Her name is Willow and she is an adorable Suri - here she is at 3 days old.
