Knitting with Alpacas

Last Saturday I pulled up a chair in the field and enjoyed a couple of hours watching the girls graze among the pear trees.  I brought my knitting (this is a lovely lacey scarf that Sharon will be selling in the store) and showed them what I was doing.  It felt kind of funny knitting alpaca yarn while surrounded by alpacas: "Hey, this is you on the needles!"

The colour matches Sapphire Rose's eyes.  Here she is admiring my handiwork.
