Last Saturday Alpaca Canada invited breeders to this fun event in Orangeville which showcases the breeding power of their studs and allows people to buy or sell alpacas through an auction.
Here is Daryl Krause, President of AC, introducing the evening's auctioneer.
The alpacas were brought right up onto the stage which really added to the excitement. There was a lovely little girl that we wanted, but the budget wouldn't allow us to go too far and we had to sadly stop bidding. I want to get an alpaca for showing.
As you can see, judges examine the alpacas very thoroughly.....
